Swimming class Academy is a year-round swimming program that offers lessons to people of all ages. our mission is to teach water safety and inspire our students to become confident swimmers.
We've taught forty of kids over the years, instilling in them the importance of water safety and swimming proficiency. Our Swimming Class Method is a proprietary curriculum that emphasizes safe and structured learning techniques.
At the core of our approach is the swim-float-swim method, which builds confidence and ensures safety in and around water by emphasizing rolling over onto the back to breathe. Additionally, our step-by-step approach emphasizes proper body positioning and stroke mechanics, helping students develop impeccable form in all four competitive strokes.
Hi I'm Maria, having a background of competitively swimming for over 10 years means that I can teach any level. I do prefer to teach student that are just learning how to swim from ages 3 years old and above. I love seeing the growth of barely sitting in the water to being able to jump in and swim to me all by themselves. Swimming has always been my passion and I'd love to teach kids and non-swimmers to fall in love with the water as well.

3:00 PM – 4:00 PM – Intermediate Class

Each level in our program uses a specific set of skills and drills to guide children from the early stages of water safety to an introduction to the four strokes and finally into advanced techniques and endurance exercises that prepare each swimmer for a career in competitive swimming. Learn like a Champion!
Introduce the student to the pool environment and have them become familiar and comfortable in the water.
Establish an unlimited comfort level while in a back float and to increase awareness in the water.
Obtain awareness of the environment and the ability to move around the pool independently with correct body position and kicking.
Provide physical support designed to assist in learning drills that involve rotational skills and the use of arms while swimming.
Further develop rotational drills while maintaining correct body position and proper kicking.
Master catch up stroke for freestyle and backstroke switch drill. Introduce kicking for breaststroke and butterfly.
